No. 56 McCoy & Remme Families
174,300 acres
These Texans own McCoy’s Building Supply as well as ranching operations in the central and western portions of the Lone Star State. They are equally well known for their charitable endeavors and support a multitude of organizations, including the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center, the San Marcos Youth Shelter, and the Miriam McCoy Pet Adoption Center.
